Space Station Design Workshop 2025, Stuttgart

The Space Station Design Workshop is an intensive, week-long international systems-engineering workshop where international student teams design a full space mission concept from scratch. My team's task was the lunar landing and ascent stage of a lunar mission architecture.

This page is still being filled in with the actual design results — for now, here's the team at the closing ceremony, and the shape of the work below.

Sizing the landing and ascent stage

Work centered on the systems-level design of the lunar landing and ascent stage: trajectory and propulsion sizing in Astos and Matlab, and integrating that with the rest of the mission architecture through Synera.
